Betty Ford Alpine Gardens is proud to feature Lost in the Woods, a juried exhibition of contemporary botanical illustrations featuring the majesty and mystery of trees. The 27 original works of art, presented by the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists, encourage an appreciation for the wide diversity of trees and meet criteria for scientific accuracy, aesthetics, and technical mastery.


The Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists (RMSBA) is an open and diverse group of artists, collectors and admirers who share a love for the practice and perpetuation of botanical art and illustration with a fond focus on plants in the Rocky Mountain Region.

RMSBA encourages and participates in educational outreach, juried and non-juried exhibits, lectures, workshops and regular chapter meetings. They are proud to be the very first chapter affiliation of the international organization, the American Society of Botanical Artists.

Daily Staff Guided Activity: Held at 11 a.m. and activities offered on a rotating schedule are: puffy paint, sun catcher, puffy slime, glow gak, simple chemistry, balance toys, shrinky art, magnetic marble painting. Cost: included with your Imagination Station entry fee or membership.

Vail Gymnastics now offers a punch card for interested members. A five-hour punch card is now available for $40 and a ten-hour punch card is available for $80. Join us! for Golda Meir: Choices and Chances - A Living History by Helen Trencher. This one-hour event begins in 1974 where Golda Meir, the former Prime Minister of Israel,  is about to take on her biggest role yet. As a living history event, Golda Meir (portrayed by Helen Trencher) will reflect on the early days of her storied career: 1914 - 1948. The 45-minute monologue will be followed by a 15-minute Q&A session: first as Golda Meir and finishing with a Q&A with the scholar/presenter, Helen Trencher.

The 27 original works of art, presented by the Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists, encourage an appreciation for the wide diversity of trees and meet criteria for scientific accuracy, aesthetics, and technical mastery.


The Rocky Mountain Society of Botanical Artists (RMSBA) is an open and diverse group of artists, collectors and admirers who share a love for the practice and perpetuation of botanical art and illustration with a fond focus on plants in the Rocky Mountain Region.

RMSBA encourages and participates in educational outreach, juried and non-juried exhibits, lectures, workshops and regular chapter meetings. They are proud to be the very first chapter affiliation of the international organization, the American Society of Botanical Artists.

Open gym at the Vail Gymnastics Center offers children of all levels, ages eight years and older, an opportunity to utilize the Vail Gymnastics Center equipment including trampoline, tumbling mat, foam pit and more. Cost is $10 per session. Open gym volleyball for all abilities takes place at Homestake Peak School in EagleVail every Friday night throughout the winter from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Please note, starting on Dec. 6, 2019, open gym volleyball will move to Red Sandstone Elementary School in Vail and the time will change to 6-9 p.m. Cost is $4/person, 10-day pass is available for $30.
