The Vail Farmers’ Market takes place on Meadow Drive. The event started with a few tents and now has grown to over 135 tents . We have entertainment for everyone and bring people from all over to enjoy the Rocky Mountains on a Sunday. Enjoy strolling down East Meadow Drive in Vail while tasting treats from Colorado. Parking for the Market is at the Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking. The Market begins June 16th and goes through October 6th, 2019.

Please join others in the Community Room at Vail Public Library for weekly meditation gatherings.







Sessions are currently led by Thomas Guthrie, with visiting guests from time to time. Each session will open with a brief warm up and breathing exercise, followed by a series of 10 to 20 minute meditation sessions or a brief open discussion. Chairs and seating cushions are available. The event features two full weekends of blown-out Bavarian fun. As part of our Healthy Lifestyle Series at Vail Public Library, Maria Barry will teach a four week Introduction to Country Western Line Dance. On Tuesday Afternoon, starting Sep. 3rd - 24th.
Borrowing from many different dance traditions, line dance steps vary from simple walking to intricate turns and syncopated rhythms. This will include the Basics of the popular Two Step, Double Two and Cowboy Cha Cha.

The Town of Vail and Eagle River Water & Sanitation District will sponsor another installment in the Lunch with the Locals series at noon Wednesday, Sept. 18 at the Grand View on the third level of the Lionshead Welcome Center. Attendees will enjoy a free lunch while listening to Kim Schlaepfer, Climate Action Collaborative project manager at Walking Mountains Science Center, discuss the efforts that are being made to address climate change in Eagle County.



Experts from Walking Mountains Science Center, Eagle River Watershed Council and Town of Vail will be on hand to answer questions about what residents can do to help Restore the Gore. There will also be stickers and informational brochures given away to attendees.
