Join a trained Certified Interpretive Guide and Wilderness First Responder to discover some of the most beautiful destinations in the Vail area that are only accessible via your two feet! Transportation is provided from various locations from Vail to Edwards. Hikers should come prepared to spend the day on the trail, including bringing lunch, rain gear, and plenty of water. Ages 16+.

This unique fly fishing program is comprised of education about stream ecology and entomology (study of insects), as well as the basic skills of fly fishing. Most importantly, it’s about having fun on the water!

 Ages 8-13, $45/person. Please pack appropriate outdoor clothing, a water bottle, and lunch or snack for each child. This program runs rain or shine with the exception of lightning. Pre-registration is required

The Imagination Station, a thoughtful play space, features a Thoughts Flow water table to inspire experimental play, a Play Wall to integrate physical and cognitive learning, a hyperbolic funnel that models planetary motion and a medical clinic where children play doctor to dogs, cats and babies. Daily art and science activities are offered, as well as active virtual reality experiences. Located in the Community Programming room, above the Vail Welcome Center (second floor) at the southwest end of the Lionshead parking structure. Costs: $7 per day, $20 per week, $40 per month or $60 a year.
