Located on the lower level of the library (across from the elevator), our Tech Studio is a true creation station for all ages, abilities, and interests. Explore, create, collaborate, and invent in a safe and supportive environment!

QPR stands for Question, Persuade and Refer, an emergency mental health intervention for suicidal persons created by Paul Quinnett, and first described in 1995 in a number of presentations and publications by the QPR Institute.

In one hour you can learn how to save a life from suicide. Become a certified QPR Gatekeeper:

As a QPR-trained Gatekeeper you will learn to: Recognize the warning signs of suicide, know how to offer hope & know how to get help and save a life.

The Vail Farmers’ Market is entering its 18th year in Vail on Meadow Drive. The event started with a few tents and now has grown to over 135 tents . We have entertainment for everyone and bring people from all over to enjoy the Rocky Mountains on a Sunday. Enjoy strolling down East Meadow Drive in Vail while tasting treats from Colorado. Parking for the Market is at the Vail Village Parking or Lionshead Parking. The Market begins June 17th and goes through October 7th, 2018.

Please join others in the Community Room at Vail Public Library for weekly meditation gatherings.

Sessions are currently led by Thomas Guthrie, with visiting guests from time to time. Each session will open with a brief warm up and breathing exercise, followed by a series of 10 to 20 minute meditation sessions or a brief open discussion. Chairs and seating cushions are available.
